Job description:
- Design a comprehensive and age-appropriate English language curriculum for children aged 6-12, following the CEFR guidelines.
- Develop learning objectives, milestones, and a structured progression of language skills.
- Create scripts for educational videos that align with the curriculum, balancing entertainment and educational content.
- Write engaging and age-appropriate dialogues supporting language learning.
- Act as on-screen talent for educational videos, delivering lessons and engaging with the audience.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to make language learning enjoyable for the target age group.
- Integrate diverse teaching methods and learning modalities into the curriculum, incorporating games, videos, and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition.
- Design assessments and quizzes to measure language proficiency and track individual user progress.
- Implement a system for providing constructive feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Work closely with Content Operations for seamless integration of the curriculum into the app’s content strategy.
- Collaborate with animators, video producers, and game developers to align content production with the curriculum.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in language education for children.
- Integrate innovative and effective pedagogical approaches into the curriculum.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on educational videos for visual and auditory clarity, content accuracy, and adherence to production standards.
- Collaborate with video producers and animators to address identified issues.
- Create quizzes and interactive assessments aligned with educational objectives for games.
- Ensure game quizzes are engaging, age-appropriate, and reinforce language learning concepts effectively.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- 4+ years working experience in Curriculum Designer or Education field with focus on English Learning Lesson
- Proven experience in curriculum design, especially for children, with adherence to CEFR guidelines.
- Certification in international teaching standards, including qualifications such as TKT, TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA, is highly desirable for this role.
- Strong script writing skills, focusing on creating engaging and educational content.
- Comfort and effectiveness in on-screen presentations for educational videos.
- Familiarity with multimedia content integration and gamification in education.
- Proficiency in staying updated on educational trends and incorporating them into the curriculum.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical abilities problem-solving skills and reporting expertise
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Top English skills, written and oral
